How ELC Works

Depth of provision you can actually see.

Either a small group of 6 students or 1:1. Whichever route you choose,
you can be sure that the exceptional ELC level of provision will be
there throughout.

Start Point

When should I start?

💡If a friend or a WhatsApp group has just made you panic, breathe. September of Year 5 is fine for a start point. The ELC course has been written to build strongly from here until the final exam.

You are welcome to start later in the year, but the September start ensures the foundations are secure and ready for faster-paced steps later in the year.

The structure

Lessons that link into homework, and into next week.

Each lesson builds on the last and sets up the next, with homework that reinforces both. Nothing's random. That's the depth of provision parents tell us they can feel within a term.

✓ Structured, sequenced lesson plans
✓ Homework that mirrors the lesson
✓ Saturday 9am online repeat if a week's missed
✓ Provision keeps running through the holidays

The ELC bit

Pet rocks. Crazy hats. Certificates worth bragging about.

The structure is serious. The delivery doesn't have to be. The personality (the characters, the silly challenges, the rewards) is exactly why children look forward to their ELC time after school. We're never letting go of that.

Come and see a lesson, with no obligation.

One first lesson tells you more than any website can. If you don't carry on, there's nothing to pay. If your child joins, it's charged as their first week.
